Types of Warranties

Extended Warranty
Extended Warranty refers to any extension of manufacturer's warranty offered at the point of sale of products. It is also known as service contract/ agreement and the cover only commences on completion of the original warranty. The extended warranty period may range between 12 and 48 months. This offer is applied to new goods only, sold by the dealer, or built into the product by the manufacturer.

Warranty Direct
This warranty offer is mainly applicable for the pre-owned cars segment. It has three levels to choose from: 

• ‘Silver Cover’: Limited to mechanical breakdowns and its labor charges only
• ‘Gold Cover’: More additions to its coverage of warranty, most major parts and labor charges are included
• ‘Diamond Cover’ - A comprehensive package covering the engine, ignition, electrical system, steering, gearbox, suspension and other mechanical parts
